With different experiences, cultural backgrounds and expertise, our care team is able to understand and address the unique needs of each client. We leverage our staff’s institutional knowledge and local understanding to best support our clients and match them with the therapist most appropriate for their unique situation. All Forward therapists have a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related helping field, with most specializing in trauma.

Supervisors

Ashley Duffie, MAPC | Clinical Supervisor - Community Outpatient
Service Speciality: Dialectic Behavioral Therapy
Ashley Duffie is the manager of our Wraparound Program. She has five years of experience in the healthcare field. During this time, she has received specialized training in Dialectic Behavioral Health. As manager of Wraparound services, Ashley has experience working with adults and youth with severe mental illness, personality disorders, trauma, anxiety and problems with adjustment. Her preferred approaches to therapy include utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and applying an overall holistic lens to treatment.
Ashley attended McKendree University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is the proud mother of two young daughters and enjoys spending her free time with her family, riding horses and spending time with their animals.

Kaitlin Kent, MA, LPC | Clinical Supervisor - EBI Programs
Service Specialty: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Care
Kaitlin is one of the Clinical Supervisors. she supervises therapists in the Evidence-Based Intervention programs which include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Nurturing Parenting Program and Child Parent Psychotherapy. Kaitlin also supervises therapists in the Southern Illinois Violence Prevention Program and DCFS counseling contract. Kaitlin has six years of professional experience including working with children, teens, adults and families experiencing trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety and behavioral concerns.
Kaitlin has her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Kaitlin loves spending time with family, Netflix, doing activities outside, gardening, continuing learning experiences and loving on her pet cat.

Federico Parola, ALMFT | Clinical Intern Supervisor
Service Specialty: Family-Focused Therapy
Federico Parola is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with three years of professional experience. He works with children, families and couples utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and believes in the importance of helping an individual by acknowledging and addressing problems within the family structure.
Federico graduated from St. Louis University with a master’s degree in Medical Marriage and Family Therapy. He enjoys playing volleyball, soccer and biking. Federico loves spending time with family and friends while barbecuing.

Haley Simpson, MSW, LCSW - Wraparound Supervisor
Service Specialty: Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy
Haley Simpson has five years of professional experience and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker. She has expertise working with children, youth and families with serious mental illness, trauma, anxiety and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Haley has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Social Work, from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and Washington University Saint Louis respectively. Outside of work, she loves her family, yoga, reading and cuddling her pets.

Wren Fallon | Clinical Intake Specialist
Wren Fallon is the Clinical Intake Specialist. He has a strong customer service background and has worked face to face with individuals his entire career. Wren currently has two years of experience in his field.
Wren graduated from the Ranken Technical College with a bachelor’s degree in construction maintenance and management. He grew up in a military family and traveled to many countries. He even lived in a few, like Italy. Wren’ s ultimate passion is to own multiple properties and provide shelter for LGBTQ+ individuals who are kicked out by their parents because of their orientation.

Nicholas Hepler, ALMFT | Therapist
Service Specialty: Dialectic Behavioral Therapy
Nicholas Hepler enjoys working with adolescents, couples and families. His treatment approach includes utilizing Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Attachment-Focused Therapy. Nicholas believes in the importance of self-care and regularly practices mindfulness meditation
Nicholas has recently graduated from St. Louis University with his master’s degree in Couples and Family Counseling. He and his wife have a two-year-old son. Nicholas and his family love to travel and host parties!

Wyndi Allen-Todd | Clinical Therapist
Service Specialty: Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions
Wyndi Allen-Todd specializes in working with individuals who have experienced abuse and other traumatic events. Her experience ranges from working with clients in the community, incarcerated, and homeless with severe mental health and substance use diagnoses, at risk children and families, victims of domestic violence, victims of human trafficking, and nonprofit community mental health. Her work with individuals from a wide range of experiences has given her a unique perspective when providing counseling.
Wyndi attended Liberty University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in in Human Service Counseling with cognate in Marriage and Family. Wyndi also obtained an associate of science degree in Criminal Justice. She is a member of the American Association for Christian Counselors (AACC) and certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator.

Sara Wray, QMHP, LPC | Clinical Therapist
Service Specialty: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy
Sara Wray is a Clinical Therapist here at Hoyleton. She currently has two years of experience in her field. Sara attended Walden University where she received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She enjoys home improvement projects and outdoor activities such as camping and fishing.

Season Reiler | Clinical Therapist
Season Reiler is a Clinical Therapist here at Hoyleton. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a MA in Psychology. Her speciality is children and adolescents with previous trauma.
Season is currently married with two little boys and she enjoys hiking and kayaking on the weekends.

Haili Loftin, BA | Care Coordinator – Wraparound
Haili Loftin currently works as a Wraparound Service Coordinator within the Wraparound Program. She has four years of professional experience. She enjoys working in community mental health and working with various age groups and the LGBTQIA population.
Haili graduated from Lindenwood University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Professional Counseling. She enjoys watching horror movies, reading thriller sci-fi novels and annoying her cats as they try to sleep.

Chyniece Lewis | Wraparound Care Coordinator
Chyniece is a Wraparound Care Coordinator who enjoys thoroughly engaging with her clients and working towards obtaining and sustaining stability. Chyniece has three years of experience in the field of community mental health and has worked in several different communities addressing and assisting the needs of families and individuals with underlying mental illnesses.
Chyniece has earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently working on her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health.

Margaret Samson, MA | Parent Educator
Margaret Samson is one of the Parent Educators. She has a variety of experience to include working with children and working with the public sector. She plans to bring these talents to her current position. Margaret is excited to be a part of the Counseling CARE team and is enthusiastic about her new journey.
Margaret has her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Education from Dominican University. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son, friends and family. Margaret loves to try out new recipes, being outside, is a DIY crafter and a yoga enthusiast.

Natalie Ribaudo | Parent Educator
Nalalie Ribaudo is one of the Parent Educators. She has 1 year of experience in her field and her specialities are: Evidence-Based Intervention and Trauma-Informed Parenting Education.
Natalie graduated from Maryville University with her bachelor’s in Criminology and Psychology. Cows are her favorite animal and she has traveled all over the United States but has never left the country.
